Congratulations go out to client MICHAEL EARLEY, outfielder for the Chicago White Sox High-A club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, who was named to the 2012 Carolina League All-Star Team!
“Money” Mike had a tremendous first half for the Dash in his first year at the High-A level. At the break, Michael was hitting .322 (5th in the league), with 9 HR, 36 RBI, 11 2b, 120 TB (5th), 74 H (6th) and an OPS of .900 (5th). Additionally, Michael was selected to participate in the Home Run Derby, scheduled to begin immediately before the All-Star Game.
Michael was originally drafted by the White Sox in the 29th round of the 2010 MLB Amateur draft out of Indiana University.
